SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA (September 15, 2016) – Entry details have been released for the fast-approaching 3rd Annual October Classic 100. The non-points Pacific Challenge Series presented by PenneyLawyers.com race has become the premier race for the series, and takes place on October 15th at All American Speedway in Roseville, CA. The race is the undercard for the TOYOTA/NAPA Auto Parts 150 NASCAR K&N Pro Series, West weekend at the one-third mile.
2012 series champion and 2016 points leader Jeremy Doss of Upperlake, CA won the inaugural running in 2014 which served as a points race that year. Doss was a major factor in the 2015 edition when he took a challenge to start at the rear of the field but ultimately fell short to 2015 series champion John Moore of Granite Bay, CA.
Not only is the event one of the highest paying and includes a litany of contingency prizes, the race has also become a large fundraiser for Placer County breast cancer initiatives. Ribbons will be sold through WrapStar Pro with all money being donated. The series raised $2,610 last season and aims to do more this year.

Pre-entry is $100 and includes car and driver. Contingency prizes are being offered from many great partners, including NAPA Tool Boxes, American Racer Tires, Sunoco race fuel, AR Bodies, K&N Filters, WrapStar Pro, Bassett Wheels, Competition Carb, Penney Racing Supply, and Joe’s Racing Products. The race weekend format includes an optional practice, registration, and parking day on Friday October 14th, before additional practice, qualifying, the American Racer Tire dash, and the October Classic 100 on Saturday October 15th.
Tickets for the October Classic 100 can be pre-purchased at www.BMRNAPA.com Adults ages 12+ are $30 in advance, while Military will get a discounted price of $25 and kids 6-11 are $15. Kids five and under are free. All prices increase by $5 at the gate.
Pacific Challenge Series racers have two more points races on their agenda to settle the score for the 2016 championship with a great battle between prior series champs Doss and Modesto’s Mike Beeler. The series races at All American Speedway on Saturday September 24th in a prelude to the October Classic and will wrap up its points season the following weekend at Ukiah Speedway on October 1st.
