PCS Rockin it at Stockton!
Once again, hats off to our Pacific Challenge Series competitors for putting on an spectacular show for our fans despite a light field of cars. The 75 lap main was an action packed, wreck-free race with only one yellow when Eric Schmidt had the rare mishap of an engine failure while leading the race on lap 62 after being the fastest car in the field all day. This opened the door for a hard charging nose-to-tail battle between Jr. Roddy and Jessica Brunelli for the top spot. Jr. Roddy finished the night with the $1500 winners check and the big trophy. Jessica Brunelli dug hard the whole race and brought home the second spot in her #88 Naake Motorsports ride.
Stockton regulars Kyle Gottula and Justin Philpott both drove a very determined race, finishing in the 3rd and 4th spots respectively in their first outing with the Pacific Challenge Series.
A special thanks to all competitors for an exciting but clean race.
We are excited to be back at Stockton 99 Speedway for our next race on July 13th. We look forward to having more of the Stockton and valley regulars join us for that event.
